Edith Lane. It's the most peaceful, happiest, nicest, sunshiney-est neighborhood in all of Clubpenguin, and i live on it. There's the ocean down the road from my house, just a block away. The sunshine is beating down on me, staring at me like it has a telecope. But then, one day on peaceful, happy, nice, sunshiney Edith Lane. Something happened.
One morning i went down to the Edith Lane Neighborhood Beach, but for short, i just call it Edith Beath. The water was calm and making the noise just as loud as a small cricket in the dusk. I read my book as the sand sank in between my toes, soothing me, making we drousy and sleepy like my dog, Livington, Liv for short. Anyway, it got later and i slipped on my sandals and went home, my friends were there for my birthday party, their named were Jane, Lori, Carol, and May.
We played checkers and sharades and made homemade brownies, actually we just ate the mixture, we didn't cook them. Then the phone rang. I ran over to the phone on the coffee table in the livingroom, "Caller ID says 'unknown caller'." i said. Lori walked over and rolled her eyes, " "Don't worry, i get unknown callers all the time! Their just some lonely life-less freaks who want to help you with morgage... or car insurance... or health care." I sighed and pushed 'talk' on the phone. " I'm not interested in whatever you are. My house is payed for, i don't own a car, and my health car is covered and flawless." i said quickly as i picked up the phone. "Not interested in any of that stuff too. You're father stole $50,000,000 from me. It was it a locked safe in my cellar." then the man hung up. I dropped the phone and ran to the cellar.
My friends ran after me down the cellar, i was by my fathers safe, when he died the money was given to me so i could pay for food and clothes. "What are you doing, Grace!" cried May. I looked up at them and explained, "This dude on the phone said my dad stole $50,000,000 from him... my dad kept every cent of his in this safe. I wrote the combination down on a piece of paper and hid it under the safe, but the paper isn't there! The combination is like... 1,000 numbers! I'll never remember it!" Then we heard the cellar door shut.
to be continued.......
